Japanese people have been given a handout of what to do in the event of a nuclear attack, following a series of nuke tests by the North Korean despot.
Downloadable pamphlets on the nation’s civil defence website called “Protecting Ourselves against Armed Attacks and Terrorism” have been published.
The terrifying documents reveal the best ways to avoid being killed by radiation during a nuclear attack.
It advises people to stay in doors behind thick walls, ideally an underground shopping mall, to avoid the massive explosive blast from bombs.
The handouts resemble the British Protect and Survive documents issued during the early 1980s following the Soviet Union’s invasion of Afghanistan.
That booklet suggested people shut all doors and windows, turn off gas, water and ventilators, and sit down away from doors, walls and windows.
It also suggests that in an attack people should stay calm and attempt to collect as much information as possible on TV and radio.
World powers have become increasingly uneasy at the trigger-happy North Korean leader following a number of warhead tests in the Pacific Ocean.
